From humble beginnings on the Sunshine Coast of Australia by the original Founder (formerly Tales of Indie)  to now expanding Australia wide and Internationally for all the moments in the sun. Designed and hand crafted for you to enjoy your time in the sun, exploring this world and spending time with family. Our brand means the world to us and I hope you can join us on this Journey and become a part of our Tales family.   About Me. My name is Kyra Queensland Australia, originally from Liverpool England but moved to Australia when I was 15, I am the owner of Tales of the Sun. I was drawn to the brand as I was captured by the true message behind tales and what it offers families and children.   I have always been passionate about sustainability and quality. I try and teach my girls every day that we are here to make an impact on this world but we need to respect and look after it so it can be enjoyed for generations to come. I am a mother of 2 young girls Emberley, 3 and Ellasandra, 6. They are strong-willed, strong-minded girls who love to adventure and make the most of every day and certainly know how to put their outfits to the test along the way. My Husband and I have always valued travel, exploring and making memories with our family, much more than material things but as we all know we need quality items in our lives to get us there. What we are building in Tales Is a sustainable generational Swimwear and clothing brand  that hopefully will be passed down and passed on to enjoy and live. Coming from England we spent a lot of our younger years, in places like Spain, Italy and Europe for the summer. We did not have a lot of money and often caught the train/bus and mum and dad had us walking for hours and hours in the hot sun with my dad in the lead to reach the most beautiful destinations I had ever seen. Our clothes never lasted us long, exploring caves, beaches and small villages along the way always put our swimmers and outfits to the test. Coming to the Australian set with our pearly white skin was always a challenge for our parents to keep us protected. What I found after becoming a mother is most of my girl’s swimwear and clothing was of poor quality and not made to truly live life in. I had been looking for a brand that aligned with our lifestyle our passions and when I came across Tales I said to my husband I think this just fits ….   Our lines are are here to protect your little ones and you from the sun, the elements and all those moments along the way. We are a family brand that are here to be with you, along with your families journeys, travels and adventures and hopefully become a small part of your story as well. Our swimwear and soon to be clothing is for all those moments together with friends and family, whether its on the crisp white beaches of Australia, the black sands of Europe or the dusty creeks and valleys of the outback. We are here to last and we hope your “Tales of the Sun”  pieces are there with you as you write your own story.
